June 2007; Shibaura CM364 with rotary mower
After introducing the SR525 five-unit reel mower earlier this year, Shibaura now also offers a three-unit rotary mower with a 2.50 m working width.
Danish company Stensballe has specially adjusted the Triplex THM2500 for the Shibaura CM364, and Shibaura Europe BV will combine them as a final product for the European market.
This three-unit triplex mower is fully mounted at the front and has a working width of 2.50 m.
The central mower is driven by the central PTO that is standard for the CM364. The two outer mowers are driven hydraulically.
This requires a special modification of the machine. For transport the two outer mowers can be swung upwards quickly and will switch off at the same time.
The high torque of the Shibaura engine (volume of 1662 cc) allows a high performance of the combination and achieves a very good mowing result.
