Oct. 2007; Shibaura Deutschland GmbH is getting shape
SHIBAURA DEUTSCHLAND GmbH is getting shape.
After establishing Shibaura Deutschland GmbH in December 2006, we are now building a new sales centre for Germany in Wiehl, where the A4 (Cologne-Olpe) and A45 (Sauerland route) cross. On a 3500 m2 site, we are building a 1500 m2 premises containing a showroom, offices, a workshop and a storage room.
As of January 2008, our German dealers will receive expert support from this office in Wiehl.
Managing directors of the GmbH are Mr. Paul Franken (B Sc) and Mrs. Wendy Broekstra-Franken (B Sc).
Sales are managed by sales manager Werner Schmelz.
For further support we have appointed:
mister Georg Happ - Office sales and dealer support,
mister Sascha Hirschfeld - Technical Department.
In Augustus 2007 the official handover by the city of Wiehl to the Shibaura Europe BV representatives took place on the industrial site Wiehl / Heckelsiefen.
The opening with Shibaura dealers and suppliers will take place early 2008 in Wiehl.
